Calvin's journey in construction began when he arrived in the United States from the Island of Dominica. Within 24 hours of his arrival, he started his career as an apprentice under his father's guidance, learning the ins and outs of the trade. This early experience instilled in him a deep love for construction and a dedication to mastering the craft.

 

His dedication and hard work led him to join the New York City Carpenters union, where he spent 18 years honing his skills and knowledge of interior specialties and various other trades. Through day-to-day experiences and hands-on learning, Calvin gained a comprehensive understanding of construction practices and the importance of quality work, performance, and professionalism.

 

With this wealth of experience and expertise, Calvin leads Island Builders Group into the future with innovative ideas and a drive to be the best in the industry.
